Members of the public and press may attend the meeting unless the Parish Council enters a confidential session. (a) Chairman’s Report

(b) Clerk’s Report

  1. Banking – the clerk has been added to the Bank Mandate. Internet Banking access has now been requested.
  2. Cash Book – the cash book has been updated to an excel spreadsheet, with entries reconciled up to 30th June. Further entries are awaiting access to internet banking for the Clerk.
  3. Payroll – the parish council has been registered with HMRC for PAYE. A FPS has been submitted by the Clerk to HMRC for September payroll. Shape payroll software has been selected for payroll reporting. A direct debit has been set up with HMRC for PAYE payments.
  4. The Pension Regulator has been contacted for auto enrolment requirements.
  5. The email mailing list has been transferred to mailchimp to comply with GDPR requirements. A sign up form is available on the website and users may unsubscribe themselves from the list.
  6. Dst Cllr D Wood has been advised of the date of the highways meeting and has offered to invite the relevant BANES officers.
  7. TO RESOLVE: Appointment of internal auditor for 2023/24 (email of details sent to cllrs)
