Apologies I cannot be with you on 9/10/23 due a meeting clash, but please do let me know anything that arises I can help with.

My notes say to watch out for proposed dates for a public meeting this autumn.  I’ve approached highways so they also know to expect an approach (via me) to attend.

If it makes more sense for me to suggest dates that myself and a highways officer can do (sometime in November?)  just let me know.  

Thank you Philip for completing the lion’s share of the application form for £350 for the tree and associated bits.  I’ve completed my bits and sent this off to B&NES.  They usually confirm the award pretty quickly.

I’m awaiting a meeting with the Head of Legal to discuss.  Approaching this with a mindset of: is the Council acting proportionately and doing everything possible to enable the community to tackle local priorities? And if not, why not.

I saw correspondence on this from Jon about how the meetings so far could have been better.  I’ve had similar comments from other parishes.  I understand Jon is due to meet with a senior planning officer in the next week or so to discuss.  Feedback on how this meeting goes will be useful.

There were actions from the last meeting:

– Clean and Green team requests on Ridge Lane and outside church for the C&G week in October.  This request has been made

– Follow-up on sign at Fairash junction.  We’ve chased this up and await reply.
