Dear Kirsty,
We refer to Application Reference: 24/04001/CLPU Bungalow Farm , East Harptree Road, West Harptree and the proposal for the siting of a mobile home and would note:
The applicant has cited precedents however none of these were within National Landscapes. The Development Plan and NPPF both state that “great weight shall be afforded to conserving and enhancing landscape and scenic beauty ….”. In these circumstances, we believe that it would be appropriate to require the applicant to provide some screening with trees and shrubs.
We would also ask that any certificate of lawful development makes it clear that the development will cease to be lawful a) if the twin unit and bungalow are not simultaneously occupied by members of the applicant’s family and b) immediately the property is sold.
Kind regards,
West Harptree Parish Council
