  • Outdoor equipment, sum insured: £4660.59 (£250 excess)
  • Street furniture, sum insured: £8289.24 (£250 excess)

Revision Notes

Jan 2024 meeting resolution re insurance values:

  • Following items to be removed from the insurance policy and self insured with earmarked reserves. This considers items of low value not worth insuring due to insurance excess, items that would not be replaced in event of loss, items with future funding being planned in the budget:
    • Benches, both notice boards, Millenium stone, flower troughs, street lights, fencing
  • The value of play equipment insured, to be increased by the value of the above items being removed, resulting in the same total value insured (also incorporating any policy value increases at renewal).
  • Potential revisions to replacement values were considered, values remain as stated for insurance purposes.
